2.9 POSITION OF UMPIRES
The umpires should be in a position where they can best judge any decision they may be required to give
The umpire may have to move quickly into position
With experience an umpire can anticipate when decisions will be required to be made and will be in a good position and stationary
The bowler's end umpire must move to the best position without interfering with either of the batter or members of the fielding side
If he changes sides, he must inform his colleague, the fielding captain and the striker
