2.12 UMPIRE'S DECISION
When there is a disagreement or dispute about any matter, BOTH umpires will make the final decision
However, a dispute about the ground, weather and light is settled by ONE umpire
An umpire may alter any decision provided that such alteration is made promptly and does not contradict Law 20.6 (Dead ball not to be revoked). This apart, an umpire’s decision, once made, is final (October 2022)
