2.15 CORRECTNESS OF SCORES

The umpires should check throughout the match, that

the number of runs scored
the wickets that have fallen
the overs have been bowled

are correct - this is a minimum requirement

The correctness should be verified with the scorers

at every interval (excluding drinks intervals)
at the conclusion of the match

Some umpires carry a run counter and record the runs, wickets and overs on a match card at the end of every over

This makes it easier to check with each other and the scoreboard whilst the match is in progress
