2.7 FITNESS FOR PLAY
The normal conditions for play may vary from country to country and umpires will make due allowance for that fact
Play must not be suspended solely because the ball and grass have become wet
The wet ball can be dried by the fielders during play using the appropriate material
The players are expected to wear the correct footwear for the prevailing conditions and the umpires should not suspend play because players are not correctly attired
