18.11 BATTER RETURNING TO ORIGINAL END

Batters must be at or returned to their original ends under the following circumstances
    when a boundary is scored unless the batter complete more runs than the boundary allowance or the boundary results from an overthrow or the wilful act of a fielder

    when runs are disallowed by the umpires for any reason

    with some exceptions when a batter is dismissed such as Bowled, Hit the ball twice, Hit wicket, LBW, Stumped and when the injured striker is himself Run out

    when there has been a deliberate distraction of the batter under Law 41.5, the batters can choose who faces the next ball

    when the striker is Caught

    Obstructing the field, where the obstruction or distraction prevents the striker being out Caught
