28.6 MOVEMENT BY FIELDERS

The striker has the right to know where the fielders are when he prepares to receive a delivery

When the ball is in play
      and
before the ball reaches the striker,
any movement by fielders which distracts the striker is unacceptable

When the ball has left the bowler's hand
      and
before it reaches the striker
any fielder may move if the striker's actions indicate that he is
      going to change his stroke

This movement is regarded as 'intelligent fielding' and will be allowed in response to the change of stroke

If either umpire regards the movement to be unfair, he will call and signal Dead ball
