19.7 RUNS SCORED FROM BOUNDARIES

A Boundary 6 will be scored if the ball has only been struck by the bat and is first grounded beyond the boundary

This will apply even if the ball has been touched by a fielder

A Boundary 4 will be scored when a ball has pitched on the field of play before crossing the boundary

The ball can be hit by the bat, missed by the striker (Byes), hit the striker's person (Leg byes)

If the batters run and complete more than 4 runs before the ball crosses the boundary, the runs completed runs will be awarded to the batting side

The scoring of Penalty runs by either side is not affected by the scoring of any boundary
