41.4 DELIBERATE ATTEMPT TO DISTRACT STRIKER

A deliberate attempt to distract the striker does not have to be successful to be unfair

The fielding side must not attempt to distract the striker
    whilst he is preparing to receive the ball
          nor
    before he receives the ball
The following are examples of distraction
    fielders talking loudly

    fielders making noises whilst the bowler is running in

    close fielders moving within the sight of the striker

    close fielders causing shadows on the pitch to distract
