38.3 WHICH BATTER IS OUT


When the wicket is put down, that end will belong to one of the batters because he is nearest to that end

Law 30 explains the batter's ground but some examples will illustrate how the Law works on the field
    The batter have crossed on the first run and the wicket is fairly put down at the wicket-keeper's end, the non-striker is Run out

    The batters have crossed on the first run and the wicket is fairly put down at the bowler's end, the striker is Run out
