9.5 RE-MARKING CREASES

The creases at the end of the pitch can be obliterated by the movement of bowlers and batters

The umpire may score the obliterated popping crease with a bail, edge of a boot or similar object

The creases are usually re-marked between innings in a one-day match

In a multi-day match, the creases will be re-marked
at the start of each day's play
    during the lunch interval
    during the tea interval
if match regulations require it or a captain or the groundsman decide it should be done

However, the umpires can instruct the ground staff to re-mark the creases whenever they think it is necessary
