41.16 NON-STRIKER LEAVING HIS GROUND EARLY

No warning from the bowler to the non-striker is necessary before a run out attempt is made

The bowler may throw the ball at the stumps or remove the bails with the ball in his hand after stopping in his run-up

If the attempt fails, the umpire shall call and signal Dead ball as soon as possible

The ball will not count in the over whether the attempt is successful or not
