24.1 SUBSTITUTE FIELDERS


The umpires can allow a substitute for wholly acceptable reasons other than injury or illness during the match

Examples
    A player may be called away from the match to perform a public duty such as a doctor or a policeman

    There might be urgent family problem which needs attention such as a sick child or partner

Neither captain can object to the substitute in the above examples
