24.1 SUBSTITUTE FIELDERS
A substitute is a player who fields instead of a nominated player
Anyone can act as a substitute and he does not have to be a nominated player
A substitute cannot bowl nor act as the captain but he may become the wicket-keeper with the consent of the umpires
A fielder leaving the field to change a shirt or boots should not be allowed a substitute
