1.4 RESPONSIBILITY OF CAPTAINS

In addition to practical matters of batting, bowling and field placing, the captain must ensure his team plays the game fairly

He is responsible for the behaviour of his players at all times

The umpires will expect the teams to conform to the 42 Laws, the Spirit of Cricket and the traditions of the game

The umpires are required to bring any offence committed by a player to the attention of his captain

The captain should then deal with the problem
