1.1 NUMBER OF
PLAYERS
A match normally consists of two teams containing 11 players who are the nominated players
Special arrangements can be made before the toss to have fewer or more than 11 players per side
It is recommended that a competitive match should not begin if there are fewer than 7 players
There must be no more than 11 players fielding at any one time and the bowler's end umpire must count the fielders before calling Play
One of the nominated players must be the captain and made known to the umpires
