36.1 OUT LBW

What was the first point of contact?
    The first point of contact must be the striker's person

    The ball must have no contact with the striker's bat before hitting the striker's person
Where was the first point of contact?
    The first point of impact must be between wicket and wicket but if the first point of impact is on the off side of the pitch and the striker makes no genuine attempt to play the ball with his bat an LBW dismissal can be considered
