42.4 LEVEL 3 OFFENCES
AND ACTION BY UMPIRES
If such an offence is committed by a dismissed batter
If such an offence is committed by a dismissed batter

the period of suspension will not commence until the start of
the next innings in a 2 innings match
the offending batter may not act as a runner during the innings in which he was suspended
any overs to be served shall be carried forward to the next and subsequent innings of the match
As soon as possible

award 5 Penalty runs to the opposing team
signal a Level 3 offence to the scorers
recommence the match with the call of Play
report the offence to the Executive of the offending side and the Governing Body responsible for the match
