23.2 LEG BYES

The conditions for a Leg bye to be scored are
    the ball must be deflected off the striker's person

    there must be no contact between the ball and the striker's bat before or after striking his person

    the striker must have attempted to play at the ball with his bat or tried to avoid being hit by the ball
If the delivery is fair, any runs completed are recorded as Leg byes in the scorebook

If a No ball is bowled, a 1 run penalty is recorded as a No ball extra in the scorebook

The Leg byes scored are not debited against the bowler
