41.6 DANGEROUS AND UNFAIR BOWLING

Fast short pitched balls (Bouncer)

The umpire will take into account:
    3 Direction - the delivery will be travelling in a direction very close to the striker's body, if it is not, it cannot be considered dangerous

    4 Height - the delivery will be at the height of the upper chest, throat or head

    5 Repetition - the frequency of short pitched bowling increases the likelihood of injury to a batsman
    The umpire must judge this point for EACH batsman
If the umpire is satisfied on all 5 aspects of the Law, he will take official action
