3.2 CORRECTNESS OF SCORES

The scorers should be checking with each other throughout the match

Most scorers compare figures at the end of every over which gives them an opportunity to correct any errors in the previous over

The responsibility of the scorers is to ensure that the scores are correct

The responsibility of the umpires is to satisfy themselves that the scores are correct

The runs scored, wickets taken and overs bowled should be checked
when the players leave the field for an interval
at the end of an innings
at the end of the match
