26.4 PENALTIES FOR
CONTRAVENTION

If a fielder contravenes parts of this Law he will be warned that the practice is not permitted
The umpire will inform his colleague and both captains about the warning
If during the match there is further contravention by ANY player of the team the umpire shall

award 5 Penalty runs to the opposing side
inform his colleague, the scorers and both captains and the batters at the wicket
The umpires shall report the occurrence to the Governing Body and the Executive of the offending side
