26.2 PRACTICE ON THE OUTFIELD

Practice is allowed when a wicket falls but it must cease when the incoming batter has arrived on the square

Bowling practice must not take place in the area between the square and the boundary in a direction parallel to the match pitch

Only the match ball can be used in practice

Any other practise must cease when the cause for the gap in play has expired

Contravention will cause the umpires to consider the application of Law 41.9 (Time wasting by the fielding side) or Law 41.12 (Fielder damaging the pitch)
