7.1 THE CREASES
At each end of the pitch there are creases normally marked in white
The crease is one edge of the white line therefore the thickness of the line is not relevant
The popping and return creases are of unlimited length but must be marked to the minimum required
The umpires must inspect the marked creases as part of their pre-match inspection and report any faults which can be corrected before the match starts
