Tie A tie is the result that occurs when both sides have completed their innings and their final total scores are equal. The side batting second must be all out otherwise the result is a draw In One-day cricket, when scores are level it is referred to as "a tie" despite the second batting side not being All out This is a regulation introduced by ICC and is not included in the Laws
