16.9 MISTAKES IN SCORING

If the umpires and scorers find a discrepancy in the scorebook after the players have left the field, the error may affect the result of the match

If the discrepancy is minor, such as 1 run still to be scored
with 6 overs left and only 5 wickets down, the fielding captain may decide to concede the match rather than returning to the field for 1 run

The umpires can order play to resume, if
    the required number of overs have not been bowled
    the time for close of play or for the end of an innings has not been reached
    the side batting last is not All out
    playing conditions (weather, light, etc) are still suitable for play to continue
The number of overs to be bowled or time left will be exactly as they were when Time was called
