16.3 UMPIRES AWARDING A MATCH

Sometimes an action by one side causes the umpires to suspect that the side might be refusing to play

The umpires must investigate the reasons before taking any action
If they have to leave the field of play, they will collect the ball and call Time

If they decide that the reasons indicate a refusal to play, they will inform the captain of their opinion and the match may be awarded to the other side

If the captain continues the action, the match will be awarded to the other side

The umpires will return to the field of play and call Time to end the match

    The scorers will be informed
