12.6 NUMBER OF OVERS
The purpose of the last hour is to stop the fielding side slowing down proceedings
They may bowl few overs at a time when the batting side is trying to score enough runs to win the match
In a limited-overs match, such delaying tactics have no effect
The overs still have to be bowled, unless one side wins the match or play ceases for some other reason such as bad light or rain
