15.3 NOTIFICATION
The umpires and opposing captain must be informed immediately of a decision to declare or forfeit an innings
The notification must give the incoming batting captain time to allow any pitch preparation such as sweeping, rolling and re-marking
Any delay in notifying a decision may delay the start of the next innings
Any lost time will NOT be added to playing time
Once notified, the decision cannot be changed
