10.3 REMOVAL OF COVERS
If the pitch is covered overnight, the covers should be removed at the earliest possible moment if there is no inclement weather
However, there may not be employed groundstaff and the covers can only be removed when the first players arrive at the ground
The ground authority have responsibility for supervising the removal of the covers before the toss
After the toss, the umpires have the responsibility for the removal of the covers
They must not be influenced by the players when making the decision
