5.4 PROTECTION AND REPAIR
It is acceptable to repair the surface of the blade when it has been damaged
The material placed on the surface must not be rigid
Wood must be used to repair the blade other than the surface
Material used to repair damage to the toe must not extend to any other part of the blade
