Wagon wheel
Often seen in televised matches, a wagon wheel is a graphic plan view of the playing area on which the striker's scoring shots are represented by coloured lines emanating from one set of stumps The direction and concentration of these lines give a clear picture of the striker's preferred scoring areas. The colours used usually indicate how many runs were scored off each shot - singles, twos and threes, and boundary fours and sixes. |
