30.1 WHEN OUT OF HIS GROUND


The striker's end umpire is in a good position to see the grounding, being square on to the creases but he may have to move a little to one side to avoid being unsighted by a fielder

The bowler's end umpire has to move to a position square with the creases as quickly as he can after the ball is played
