LAW 36 CHANGES
Part of Law 36.2 deals with what occurs when the ball is intercepted by the striker’s person. As clarification, principally for T V slow-motion replays, an extra sub clause has been added to cover the situation where the ball appears to strike the pad and bat simultaneously
The Law now states that, if this happens, it is to be considered as the ball hitting the bat before the striker’s person and hence not to be considered for LBW
