42.5 LEVEL 4 OFFENCES AND ACTION BY UMPIRES

If such an offence is committed, the following actions shall be implemented
    the umpire shall call Time

    the offending player's captain should be informed that an offence has been committed

    the umpires shall direct the captain to remove the offending player immediately from the field of play for the remainder of the match

    If the offending player is a fielder
      no substitute is allowed and the player will be recorded as Retired - out at the commencement of any subsequent innings
    If the offending player is a bowler
      the current over is finished in the normal way
    If the offending player is a batter
      he is recorded as Retired - out in the current innings unless he was dismissed under Laws 32 to 40 before the incident
      the innings is closed if there are no other batters to replace him
Warn the captain that any future Level 1 offence will result in 5 Penalty runs being awarded to the opposing side
